Wanted to love these for taking lunches to work without having to have a separate case that would have to be washed, and without having loose silver ware ratting around in my bag. However after the first wash in the dishwasher the finish on all 3 pieces showed chips, and discoloration. Didn't really trust the finish after that so went ahead and tossed them. Very disappointed

Utensil set is lightweight and magnetic. I am using them for work lunches. Dried food accumulates between the tines of the fork so I am handwashing it. I bought this brand because it was half the price of the more popular brand.

I am always looking for lighter/space saving items for backpacking. When I saw these I was skeptical about the high grade aluminum being as light as titanium, but given the price I though it was worth taking a chance. I have been using reusable plasticware (having to replace Lexan) for the last several years. I like the weight, but they can be unwieldy and difficult to keep together. Als not very space saving. This set has resolved ALL those issues. They are very light (1 3/4 oz by my scale) which is only 1/2 oz heaver than the plastic. But they are WAY stronger, not flimsy at all. the light magnets are super convenient in keeping them together, and they take up much less space. Titanium may have shaved the extra 1/2 oz, but at a much higher cost. I am very happy with these, I will be getting 3 additional sets! I highly recommend.
