This is an excellent furled line, especially when considering the price, and I'm not sure why you would even bother spending more!Just as a side note, if you purchased a Maxcatch tenkara kit that included a furled line, this is definitely an upgrade in quality.

Good for their rods, but definitely more difficult to hold over the water than level line. Casts well, and you can treat it with flotant to use it like a floating line. Not exactly traditional, but who cares if it catches fish. Honestly, just skip to level line.

This makes rigging the Tenkara rod a breeze. The line is durable, very castable, and sensitive to nibbles. The loop ends make it easy to change terminal end baits and leader

Fantastic deal. I don't know why this stuff is SO expensive. I get that Tenkara is a currently trendy style of fishing, but $30-60 in the store, for 10-16 feet of fishing line??? Thanks to Maxcatch, it's still expensive, but comparatively much more reasonable.

Great line...works pretty well...like the color a lot better than my last two lines...no difference in strike sensitivity, still need to be cognizant of how the fish strike on this line and not pull up to soon....haven’t seen any fraying like I have seen in other lines, but line is still young in use so we will see. All in all I am pleased with this line.

I'm just learning about tenkara lines. This looks very nice and made well. My concern is the wind and breezes in my area plus being new to fishing. This line looks like it will work for this beginner.

First time out and, after a few casts, it wound up with severe line twist. It seemed to happen right after I pulled loose from some leaves up in a tree. I don't know if that did it or not. I liked the materials, workmanship, diameter and the fixed loop, but that much line twist, after a minor tangle, seems like way too much. It was unusable and I couldn't seem to get the twist out.
