Works great for expanding .224 sized case necks when loading the tiny aggravating flat base bullets.

Works well, made well. Using in stage 1 on Dillon XL650 and the bullet seating is tension is very consistent. Am not using it to flare when loading FMJBT, but that feature works great with flat base. Easy to adjust for any style bullet.

This is a must for auto bullet feeding, progressive reloading. It allows easy and proper feeding by allowing the bullet to just barely sit into the opening without flopping over while indexing. I use this in stage 1 on my Dillon 650 with the EntirelyCrimson DIY Bullet Collator. Stage 2 is powder, stage 3 bullet feeding, stage 4 seating, stage 5 crimping. Perfect ammo pops out each cycle of the handle without needing to handle any components.

This die is a real winner!I normally use it for prepping brass for cast "boolits", but have also found that it sizes the neck just right for jacketed bullets in my .223 Savage varmint rifle. The reduced neck tension made a measurable improvement in my groups, while also improving the velocity consistency over the chronograph.Saved me the cost of a bushing die but added another step, although it is certainly worth the time.Your results may differ....I also turn the necks my cases, which also helps.
