My heat pump AC unit after being told it would be over two thousand dollars ,dirty 🐀 fixed it my self for a total of 31 dollars , I change the condenser unit, compressor Capacitor very easy to do then the unit ran but was in the heat mode, u tube said I had lost the 24 volt power that comes from the little transformer another easy thing to do , take a Picture of the wires and where they connect , turn off the power to be safe or not like me and get a shock out of it .But so happy to fix it my self and saved enough for a mini vacation 🏖️It needs to be shipped in a box the bag let it get beat up “still worked “Good luck average homeowner you can do this

After item arrived it was installed by a HVAC pro which cost $80 and the transformer does not work it arrived broken. Don't waste your money.

My air conditioner had shut down in 90 plus deg weather troubleshot and found the control transformer had an open 240 primary winding. Checked my home improvement store and could get one, but was looking at 9-day delivery, Amazon delivered it in less than 24 hours, installed and is working perfectly.

We have a Johnson Control AC and the OEM part number for it brought this up when I searched. It fit perfect.
