High quality BBQ Smoker Wood Pellets in the industry. Why are these pellets like Maple Hickory Cherry so popular? Simple! The flavor of any tree is in the Metabolites or cambium layer of the growing tree. This means that all BBQ pellets made from residual sawdust as a by-product are generally comprised of the core kiln dried wood. When the old timers smoked meat and fish they did not take the bark off the wood they gathered for this very same reason. For use in any pellet smoker grill, smoke tube or box.

You're paying a little more, and you're getting a lot more. The major brands are cheaper, and that blend you get at Costco that everyone's been raving about is a fantastic deal, but it all has one thing in common: FILLER. Oak, poplar, or other junk sawdust that adds no real flavor to your cook. It's just heat fuel.Listen, you're going to the trouble of cooking with pellets for one reason, and one reason only: results. If you just wanted heat, you'd put something in the oven or just throw something on a gas grill. And there's nothing wrong with those options, those are great ways to cook food, but if you want to *smoke* your food, you want something that's producing smoke with flavor that delivers results. That means putting fuel in that doesn't just provide heat or taste like a campfire, but that tastes like the flavor profile you're shooting for.For you hickory fans, I get it: hickory's a pretty potent thing and you probably need to blend it with something so you don't wind up with a cook that just tastes like you're licking a hickory tree. Maybe that's oak, or maybe that's something with a milder flavor like maple. But outside of that situation, having the real thing in your hopper is where it's at. What's even better is having the option to blend things yourself! Want a cherry-apple mix? Well, buy a bag of pure cherry, and a bag of pure apple, and set up your blend how you want it.Try that with a bag from Costco or the hardware store.

I am long time Lumberjack user. The pellets put out good smoke flavor and burn cleanly. Very little ash is produced during long smokes. Delivery is timely and well packaged.

I have tried all of the other pellets. Many have fillers, such as poplar, and use the sawdust from kiln-dried lumber. Read their story. This is a really great smoky product. I have tried all of their versions, and like them all.

I’ve only used the apple pellets so far and they were great! They burned clean with very little ash and produced great flavor on my baby back ribs.
