I am using this for a Freenas box and I could not be happier. I had to upgrade the firmware though before it was fully recognized by my system. It's been used in a Poweredge R620 server. Speeds are fantastic, recognized all my various disks with no issues. Just be aware, this is no a Raid card. It just presents individual disks to the OS.
