The product looks good on the outside but when I went to feel the padding it’s very little. The padding isn’t the same as in the adult shorts. I will not make this purchase again matter fact I’m trying to return it

These should not be labeled as padded because it’s just a thin fleece layer. Sizing is right and they do the job for a standard bike short. You will need more padding for longer rides.

They are great quality biking shorts. However to say they are padded is an extreme exaggeration. These are not padded bike shorts. They have double thickness where you would normally have padding but don't count on them to help ease the bike butt for a kid.

My 11 year old son is on the NICA mountain bike team and it has been so hard to find shorts like these in his size! These have been great, he never goes to practice without them!
