The directions were worthless. This was very difficult to assemble - finally got it assembled after THREE tries. Once assembled it is nice but extremely heavy.

This might be the worst item I've purchased on Amazon. I but shelving and bookcases on Amazon frequently as I own a small shop. This unit is very unstable and shaky. It took so long to assemble the bookshelf and now that I want to return it, I have to unassemble it and send it back to them for over $80 in shipping cost. That is my fault for buying an item that wasn't Amazon Prime. Be prepared for a long assembly process and being stuck with it if you don't find it is up to quality.

Fits perfectly in our bedroom corner. Only thing we had a hard time with was putting it together. Took quite a while. Should have been a 2 person job for us.

I love this shelf. It’s perfect for my room. I needed something that would take up less floor space for my fragile things in my bedroom. It’s a tall shelf with a lot of pieces so of course it took a while to put together. But it’s very sturdy and even though it took 3 hours to put together the instructions where great and it was a good amount of time for the size.

OK, so I was looking around for ages to find a good corner bookshelf for all of my books to display, and this one kept popping up. Unfortunately, my room orientation would not work with the right side having that display shelf. So, I bought it taking the risk of trying to build it backward, and let me tell you, it was a success!It worked perfectly, and I have had no issues. I had to drill a few new holes in the display shelf side to make sure it was firmly attached and lined up with the other pieces, but other than that, it was easy and I would recommend if you need an alternative direction for that display. (You do need to be minorly handy, like know how to work a drill, but beginner-level appropriate)I saw people in the comments, that flipped it upside down, but I loved the border on the bottom it has so that it was not touching the floor, so I wanted to make sure I kept it with that orientation. But I definitely recommend this bookshelf as a great addition to any space as it is a beautiful white color, feels sturdy, and comes with full-length pieces, so it's even sturdier than I imagined.

I’m an engineer. I evaluate things not only on how they look, but how they’re built and how they function. This bookcase looks very nice and overall we’re happy with it. It was purchased as part of a bedroom makeover so we bought LOTS of other items including some IKEA dressers. I assembled everything myself and learned a lot about how different engineers care about and think about details in furniture assembly.This particular item is a bit on the sloppy side during assembly. The dowels are NOT tight fitting at all. Every one of them goes in loosely. Not the end of the world, but it also seems lazy. With all other furniture that I assembled, when you tighten the cam on the screw head, there is a detent that tells you it’s tight and you should stop turning. Not in this case. Almost every single one got tight but I never knew if I should stop turning or keep cranking. I felt that if I turned any further I would rip the screw out, and that’s obviously not good. I feel that without that detent, constant wiggling of the furniture could cause the cams to loosen over time. Had I not put together 5-6 other furniture items during this project, I may not have realized how much this one could be improved.Again, the end product is very nice, but I noticed these shortcomings during assembly, and that’s important to me. I would buy this product again and I do recommend it.

This fit so well in the corner of our living room. There’s a lot of room for books. It is not difficult to assemble.

Ease of assembly-0/10. Very hard to assemble. Messed up many times. The instruction pictures are tiny making it hard to determine which type of screw to use. Required two people by halfway through. Almost gave up multiple times and took multiple days.But, once it was done and we got it in the corner it looks beautiful. I do really like it. But damn was it a lot to get to that point. Seems sturdy. Haven’t moved it since getting it in its spot.
