These are very well made, excellent log handlers!The 48" is great if you load wood in a pickup bed you can reach in to front of bed and drag it out with tailgate down on my 6.5' bed...Very good to drag fair sized logs around or out of a pile, helps to have two. My son and I each have the 48", as well as shorter ones, but we can drag long logs around like nobodys business.Very good tool, pricy but worth it.
