Installs clean and fast with only two wires to connect. Take a flathead or Phillips screwdriver and your electrical wire supplies (tape, screws, etc) and get the installation done in no time.I used this product to replace the existing AC overflow safety switch. The switch is designed to prevent your AC water pan from overflowing (in the case where your AC drain system is clogged or back-up). It will shut down your ground level AC unit to prevent any further source condensation.I'm disabled and had no trouble installing the switch in my attic system.

I'm an hvac tech and needed this for an attic secondary drain pan. Simple to install, just wires in series to R of thermostat. Tested and works as advertised.

HAD A TRAP SWITCH THAT FAILED TO FUNCTION DUE TO BAD POSITIONING AND THIS PAN SWITCH AS A BACK-UP.HAS ALREADY WORKED BEAUTIFULLY TO PREVENT A SECONDARY PAN OVERFLOW INTO ATTIC.

I was looking for a float switch that was NC, but also was hoping to find something that could be used in the rare applications were it would need to be NO. This switch quickly and easy clamps onto the side of a tray, or pan, and can be set to NC or NO by simply switching which tap the one wire is connected too.Price was right, delivery quick, so basically if you don't need it that day, this is a great option.

Would have been great if I prioritized the fix. Unfortunately I chose the economy delivery option, and didn't realize my error till after it was shipped. They never called, after I missed my intended return date. I meant to inform them of the delay but it slipped my mind. When it arrived, I was reminded, and gave them a call. They said someone else fixed it. Understandable, I was negligent, I didn't deserve their business, I'll accept 2 hours of pay, and material costs being taken out of my check., just happy someone could pick up my slack. well over a year later I got a call to troubleshoot a shorting main breaker. The address was familiar. But I had done many calls in that particular apartment complex. Then the unit number was familiar. I got a sense of Deja vu as I pulled up the the building. I knocked on the door and and when the door was opened, I was met with the same expressions of unsettling familiarity."Your're the guy" Yeah I needed that part " but you never came back" Well I meant to, but.. " Then A guy from work fixed it on the cheap" Oh I bet he just..." * opens AH access and see leads cut off and wire nutted together* Yep...." Did something crazy?"You wanna hear something crazy? I actually still have that part on my truck.

Seems to be a good quality switch which is replacing a cheap Styrofoam float switch which failed and allowed a flood to develop
