I too have a Freus A/C. these pumps last a little over one season. I found they get too hot by not being completely submerged. I took a 3/4" pvc pipe and cut it in half lengthwise and put it under the condenser coil it collects some of that water and i drain it over the pump. The pump lasts much longer. I just read where they quit making the 505202 so not sure if we will get any more? I do love the Energy savings of the Freus, my unit only pulls 13 amps. But hard water is a pain. I drain my unit every day. Going to get rid of the Freus unit after the weather breaks here in Phx hope this helps other users

Purchased this pump partly due to the reviews. Wow! I really can't find anything positive about this unit.It failed within 6 months of installation. As some other reviewers, we installed it in a water chilled AC unit.It seized up during the hottest part of the summer. Their customer service is a Joke! I have called Franklin Electric, about this Little Giant pump, MANY times over a week so far. NO human ever picked up. Just a continuous loop of music and "please stay on the line" After 8 minutes a new recording telling me to leave a message for a call back.....you guessed it NO call back. The unit is suppose to have a year warranty. Pretty much worthless, as you can't get any service. Save your money and buy another product.

Used it to repair a 4 ton Freus Air Conditioning unit. Works great.

Just purchased and replaced my previous Little Giant pump on my Freus A/C unit. The previous pump lasted about 7 years. Hoping this one does too.

Have Freus AC that uses a small water cooling tower. The water pumps kept failing due to the high mineral content of the water even though a continuous water dump system is used. This pump operates on 220 volts as required. It requires no run or start capacitor and is completely sealed. It has already lasted longer than the 5 previous non-sealed pumps. Hopefully it will last many seasons. So far, it has performed excellently.

This pump is an ideal replacement for the circulation pump in your FEUS air conditioner. If you don't know what a FREUS is you don't need the pump, if you do know then you need a six pack of them (and a couple extra pumps too).

I am lucky enough to have a piece of junk Freus A/C unit which uses water to cool the coils. If you have one, you know what I mean. Regardless, I have become an HVAC tech by troubleshooting the endless problems I have with this unit. One of the issues, was finding a water pump that would last. The little giant makes my fourth pump in 6 years. No issues so far. The previous pumps were Chinese crap, so hopefully this one lasts longer. I noticed the pump was filled with oil so maybe that helps.
