It is all aluminum construction (like the 12 year old one it replaced) just the screen is plastic. They haven’t overly cheapened it like so many other things have been.

Replaced 5 yr old failed pump. Same specs - works fine. Have used same pumps for 45 years - they last longer if I take them for the winter

First pump lasted a couple months before it started tripping the GFI protected power line. Got a replacement (a bad idea in hindsight), the replacement lasted just over a month and now I'm stuck. This is a defective product that won't run submerged in water for any more than a few hours at best.

This moves the water in your pond or fountain but you need a sprinkler head with small holes if you want any height . I’ve had one before.I expect this to last but take it out of the water and drain it before winter and store it in your basement or garage

They work well, but in Arizona only expect about 1 year of use before it will overheat and die. That said, still the best out there considering.

My wife and I own a salon and needed to replace a pump in one of our pedicure chairs. This is actually the second chair I have replaced one of their pumps. It was a direct fit and I did not need any additional parts to complete the repair. This pump is pretty heavy so shipping cost from other sites come into play. The pumps are good quality. Be careful you do not get air lock and keep the pump running because it will get very hot and can ruin the pump. They do get hot enough in those instances where you shouldnt try to touch.

I bought this pump to descale a tankless water heater, it run's around 625 GPH give or take 25-50 GPH depending on the height from the pump to the service valve's. I use a white distilled vinegar at 5% acidity it's not as strong as commercial descalers, and won't harm the copper heat exchange or the pump. You can place the pump in a 5gal. bucket hook up some hose and let it run for 45mins. without damaging the pump. The second way is to connect two hose's to the pump and service valve's for a close cycle. I'll find my money's worth of usages for this pump. I would recommend the Little Giant to home owners.
