It ended up fixing the leak during wash cycle. I had to disassemble multiple parts from top and front panel to change it. Spring extension tool is must.Still going to see why Dryer is not drying. Maybe old gasket caused the lint to buildup but will going to investigate

It was perfect replacement for my LG washer/dryer combo . Make sure you go step by step and following some vide on YouTube , but be careful this is litbit extra work for dryer went remove and instalation back you have to remove some extra parts. I didn't find any helpful video ( most is only for GM washers only). Good luck.

Was exactly the seal that was on the machine same quality. We live in our RV and machine gets lots of use and seal lasted almost 4 years. If you are handy it is very easy to replace

This was a replacement for door gasket in WM3488HW washer/dryer combo. It fit perfectly. Just make sure to get one of those special pliers to compress the springs that hold the boot. You can take the old one out without the tool, but no way to put it back.

Old part had holes and the unit stopped drying. Replaced the gasket with this one and cleaned out lint that got stuck in the air circulator duct (the black thing on top; it's deep, keep going until you're sure you hit the bottom. We used a small plastic drain snake. If the lint is wet, you've made it.) You have to take the whole front off the machine, and the heavy grey balance weights so the metal clasp around the top of the gasket may be removed. You might not *need* the spring expansion tool, but it did make the job of attaching the spring wire-clamps very easy. The only other tools you need are phillips head screwdriver and 10mm hex socket for the weights.Good Luck.

It did fit perfectly in the combination unit. Although it was a hassle to take out the front and put it in, but that has nothing to do with this gasket. It does what it is supposed to do.

I ordered the part and checked to make sure this would fit my washer/dryer combo. According to Amazon, this should have fit. The item received was different than the picture, however, the part numbers on the contents matched the description on Amazon. The picture on Amazon looks like the item I need. The item that came did not have the large opening in the picture, it was a solid gasket. I sent back the item. I need the part for WM3488HW.
