I bought this strap for fun since it would match nicely with a light blue guitar with white accents that I have. I don't know why the full size strap has black tips while the kids one has white tips. It's a good thing that my guitar only weighs 6lbs so the thinner strap isn't really an issue, but I really would have liked this colour combo in the regular strap.

I got my 4-year-old daughter a 3/4 size Yamaha guitar to pique her musical interests. I bought a cheap strap with it, and when I put it to the smallest size it was still to big for her. This one works. And it feels very sturdy. The strap is of high quality threads, which I gave a good tug and it didn't tear or stretch. The leather ends are genuine leather and are decently thick, so they hold tight to the strap buttons on the guitar. They are too thick to work with the rubber strap lock washers I tend to put on my guitars, but with how snug they are I don't think they're going anywhere. Unless she tries to throw the guitar around her neck like a rock star, but then we will need to have a different conversation. Plus it has her favorite colors on it! Now if she would just be interested in playing the guitar...

I got this to go on my old Mandolin for my Grand daughter who is a tiny little gal. The Mandolin looks like a Guitar in her hands, so I knew she needed a great quality Strap. This is JUST FINE! I recommend.
