High Thermal Conductivity Thermal Resin Body Technology

What is the Thermal Resin?

What is the Thermal Resin?

Thermal resin is not a normal plastic. It is a special plastic containing carbon. The thermal conductivity coefficient in normal plastic type is approximately 0.04 W/mK. (W/mK = The Thermal conductivity measurement unit.) The thermal conductivity coefficient of the carbon-containing thermal resin raw material used in the body of our product is 20W/mK. The thermal conductivity coefficient is 500 times higher than according to normal plastics. Due to the carbon content of the raw material, the thermal resin is smoked gray. Thanks to its high technology and heat conducting resin material, it does not accumulate the heat generated in LED`s. It quickly transfers to the environment it is in. Thus, LEDs work long-lasting. Due to the excessive heat seen in many plastic products, problems such as plastic deformation and burning of LED`s are observed. Thermal resin material is resistant to salt water and corrosion that may occur in water.

Boat Light Application Guide

BOAT AFT LIGHTING ASSEMBLY

Underwater boat lights should create a pool of light that covers the full width of the transom. On an average boat, two lights will do. But if your boat has a wide beam or multiple outboards, you will need three or more lights.

The first step is to decide where you want to mount your lights. The best mounting location is usually on the transom as low in the water as is possible. Also, separating the lights by at least three feet will give you the best light coverage across your transom.

Next, use a template to check to make sure the lights fit and to mark the location of the power cord hole.

IMPORTANT! Do NOT mark the location of the screw holes at this time. You will use the light itself to mark the screw hole location.

Check inside of the boat to make sure there is room to feed the power cord through. You are also making sure you are not going to drill into anything important such as wiring or hoses. If in doubt, find a different location for your lights.

If everything looks OK you can drill the hole for the power cord.

Hi.I just purchased 2 AL UWL402 SM Underwater Boat Lights. My question is when mounting the Lights to the Boat they will not sit flat due to some of the plastic ridges, including where the Screws go, which are protruding out further on the back of the Light. Is this normal as Water will get in around the back of the Light after they are mounted? Is it possible to Sand them off Flat so the Light Fits Flat to the Hull of the Boat?Need some clarification. Thanks you.

I didn’t even use this light 6 times. So disappointed. Can’t remove it or replace it until I pull the boat out in the fall. Save your money. 👎👎👎

Three stars due to bad instructions for installating the lights. The instructions are obviously translated (poorly) and state, "drill a 3/8 inch or 10mm hole thru the transom." This is an incorrect conversion from standard to metric. I also measured the wiring connector and it's closer to 10.2mm and requires a 10.3mm or larger drill bit. Failure to drill a slightly larger hole results in the rubber connector becoming stuck in the transom during a test fit and seperating from the light when removed. Long story short: I reparied the wiring break by splicing it back together using waterproof connections, drilled the correct sized hole and installed the light. The actual light is a brilliant blue LED and is well made. The wiring and LED is tightly protected from moisture in a well made rubber boot. The lights are large (appx. dia.: 5 in.) and project light well underwater.

I’ve tried many different products so far, and I have always faced issues while using them. I find out about this products a few months ago with my friend's recommendation. Installation of this product is very simple. I used it in my boat and tested it and I can say that the brightness of this product is exemplary.

I have been using the product for a long time now and I can easily say that this one is the best one I bought so far. The installation guide was very simple which made mounting and making the connections dead easy. Also the light itself very powerful and illuminates very well. Strongly recommend it.

I bought one to try. The light is very bright, and the materials feel study and good quality. I was able to install it myself just following the manual.

I really loved this product. The videos are representative. The wiring is sturdy and do not break or short-circuit all the time. Good illumination and quality for the price. Watching the little schools of fish gathering under your boat is pretty fun.

I got it installed by a technician. I bought the white color model and it lights up very well, it's worth the money. You can watch the little fishes gather around your boat in the night.
