I ordered this power supply as a second replacement to have on standby. This works great, but they don't last forever. Good to have a replacement ready.

Not happy with these things. I have 4 circuits of landscape lighting that were being run off a 400W transformer. That transformer could not be controlled by my home automation setup, so I decided to make my own with 4 transformers and a controllable relay board. I bought 4 of these 150W transformers figuring that a 50% buffer would be sufficient. Well, one of my circuits flickered when I turned it on. So I measured the power needed by each circuit. One needs 6.5A at 12v, two need 7.5A at 12V and the fourth (the one that flickered) was pulling just over 8A, which at 12V is approx 100W. This thing was struggling to provide 2/3 of its rated power. I replaced it by a 250W transformer, which seems to be able to supply 100W. I designed and built my enclosure around using 4 of these, so having to reconfigure it all to include the bigger transformer was a pain... also, they get VERY HOT... I am not sure how long they will last at that temperature. I don't know the exact temperature, but I can't touch them, so I know it's well over the rated 50C, even supplying only

This power supply works as intended. Pricy but at least it's working fine. you need to have some electrical knowledge (basic) to install it but it really isn't hard to do so. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the high price.

I initially had problems getting the power supply to work the way I thought it should but I reached out to the vendor and they worked with me and solved my issue. The power supply itself is exactly what I needed and is working flawlessly. For future projects I'll look for products from USA Hofayer LED driver store!

Love it. It’s pretty slim and works well. My 12 AWG wire run’s for LV yard lights are 150 feet and all seems to work well. I liked it enough to buy 2 more for side and back yard as well.Instead of getting one beefy transformer I liked the idea of having multiple smaller circuits that wat it’s easier to wire the yard and also offers better ability to control individual circuits. I connected these drivers with meross smart plugs that way I can automate these lights using Apple Homekit.

My 4 years old landscape light transformer failed recently. I was going to purchase a replacement. But since I connect the transformer to a WiFi-connected power source, I really don't need the timer and dusk to dawn feature anymore. All I want is a basic power source. I find this affordable transformer that works outdoor. It is sturdily built. The total power pull from my LED lights is only 35W so the 100W unit is more than adequate. There is a 2-3 second delay start but not a problem for landscape lighting.

I recently purchased a blast cabinet (sand blasting) from Harbor Freight for cleaning up engine parts. The light that came with it was worthless once the cabinet was in use. To solve the problem, I purchased a 24" light bar for off-road vehicles, bolted it inside the blast cabinet, and powered it with this nifty power supply. The power supply is thin, light, and easily mounted. I did a quick bit of soldering to transfer the old power supply connector to this new power supply, and a couple of crimp connectors to connect the light to the switch. As a safety margin, I made sure the the power supply was not over 80% capacity. In this case, I’m using a 150w power supply to power a 120w light. If you’re looking for a quality power supply, look no further.

I am using this product indoors for my O gauge train scenery. It is wired to a board with multiple connections (some to un-led 12 volt lighting) in place of the hookup to the transformer. I also use a wifi plug that shows wattage used. The product worked the first time used, is quiet, easy to install, and never even got warm using 23 watts for awhile. I have other connections to make, but I am satisfied the 150 watt rating will handle the job nicely. I am quite happy with the unit thus far for my needs.
