This little PSU has some braun - 400W at 24V is nothing to frown at.I've used smaller versions of this for some LED strips, but this will replace my failing 3D printer PSU. I wasn't sure I'd be able to find too many supplies at this current, but this is sure it.

If you have some experience in electricals ( ac & DC) helps in installing.

Does what it's supposed to - converts AC to 24v DC. The 1.5A is fine for short LED runs, or for a few cabinets/shelves that are separate from a bigger LED run. One of the plusses of the 36W / 1.5A unit is that it's very thin and thus easier to hide in sneaky places. As it turned out, I needed a lot more power than 1.5A, so I wound up using other transformers for where I'd planned to use this device. And it's important to have at least 10% reserve, so don't hook up enough LEDs that you're pulling 1.5A total on this transformer, I wouldn't exceed ~1.3A.

There are multiple DC outputs on this power supply. Easy to use. doesn't get hot. Nice table top unit.

I can't complain, it works and was easy to install. But - it does have a lag from power on to the light strips turning on.

Sharing the following information to help with your buying decision.I bought this driver to replace a same spec driver in a light fixture that was failing. Sometimes it would not turn on. While the old driver had a virtually instantaneous setup/rinse time (time from when the switch is turned on until the light starts emitting), this driver has an approximate setup/rinse time of 1 - 1.5 seconds. It may not seem like much but for a kitchen light, it is long enough to feel and makes you question if you hit the switch or not.Since this is an overhead light fixture and not the easiest to remove and reinstall, I haven’t decided if the annoyance justifies the removal and return on this driver to find another one. This does not seem to be a specification that is shared for drivers so it makes it a gamble if I choose to replace this one.On the positive side, this driver is 1/2 the width and 1/2 the thickness of the old driver.

Replaced the driver in my huge led ceiling light. So far it’s working great. It does have a delay of a second or two when you first flip the light on.
