About this item

  • Easy to Use: LCL DTF Black Powder is easy to use, and please refer to the Video next to the product picture for how to use.
  • Upgraded Bottle Package: Compared with plastic zipper bag, LCL uses Bottle package, which is easier to store the powder from getting moisture and leaking, and the bottle package would be more convenient for powder shaking as well as more powder saving.
  • No Pretreatment: LCL DTF powder white digital transfer hot melt adhesive eliminates the need for PRETREATMENT, ensuring crisp, defined edges and images from start to finish.
  • High Quality: LCL DTF powder will stick to the ink and not the film, making it easy to shake, with excellent bonding, waterproof and flexibility. DTF black powder is a bright, vivid color made for dark patterns on garments. Obvious effect on striped or colored clothes.
  • Widely Application: LCL DTF black powder is suitable for dark fabrics, Jeans, Lycra, cotton, Polyester, nylon, leather, EVA, Blends, and many other materials. Works with all DTF & DTG printers on the market and any PET film size.

I had wanted to try the Black DTF Powder for awhile as some were saying it was much better when working on dark fabrics. I did find that is true as it creates a sharper border. However, I didn't think it covered the design well enough. It took 2-3 coats to completely coat the design.I thought the powder melted very fast compared to white powder I've used before. I used a DTF Oven and it took less than half the time I normally use to melt DTF powder.Clean up was a little bit more work as this black powder sticks to everything. It isn't quick and easy to just brush or thump the excess powder off of the DTF film or to wipe any up that got on the work table. It would be very helpful to provide product instructions and tips with the product. It would save the user a lot of time of trial and error. The bottle of product I received is larger than most I've bought before and I thought this was a good price for the volume of powder.

I didn't know that DTF powder came in black. I've used it on some of my dark shirts and it works well.

I didn't know that it came in different colors until i seen this one. It does work much better on dark colored shirts than the standard white. It is a good value and is a quality product. I would recommend.

I got this because I was told that DTF on dark fabrics can benefit from a black adhesive as opposed to the white. lol. The pros: it comes in a plastic container that is easy to store; comes with its own little scoop; you get a lot of bang for your buck. Cons: the black powder gets on everything and stains if you’re not careful. Also, I followed the instructions for baking and the results were mixed. The powder did not only cure, it seems to have eaten away at the graphic. I’m not sure how to explain it. I am going to do another image test and bake at a much lower temperature to see what results I get. It does seem to be a good option if you have a darker material because it’s black but right now I don’t think I will begetting more, not that I need to, I have enough for 100 shirts :-) so I would recommend this for somebody who has experience with the black adhesive, but I would tread lightly if you’ve only ever used the white stuff. But I can’t knock a product that if I were using correctly, I’m sure it would work.

I like this powder. It's not too fine and not too coarse as well. It cooks evenly unlike other powder that you have to constantly rotate the sheet and add more time to fully melt the powder. No issues on transfers.

Make sure you order the correct color!Becareful when opening, it doesn’t seem to be sealed well and there was black powder coming form this even though the seal was intact. This is for use with dark colored items and really you’ve got to find a good balance with not to much or too little. The size of this tub makes it easy to return over pour back into it for another use.

This DTF powder worked well in our Prestige R2 Pro setup. We use TONS of powder, and we had zero issues with it. It adhered well, the designs turned out great and we would order again.
