Well made perfect for me and my 12 foot river rocket. Well worth the cost I installed on on each seat of my 12 foot boat and they work quite well. Easy to install and use yhey increase my capacity to put hooks in the water to hfishes. Aid in my ability to catch more fishies.

These well made boat mounted fishing rod holder work perfectly.I have seen ones built with week materials, that cost a lot more. These are strong and fit on my 40 year old aluminum boat. I'm sure it will fit on your boot too. They can be adjusted to fit almost any rod and in a lot of different positions. Best of all the rod can't be removed just by having a fish on. But you can remove your rod when the big one is on the line quite easily. They also came with two sets of stainless steel screws,For years of rust free mountain. Yes I would recommend these rod holders to any fishing person. Or as a great gift for that fisher in your life.

Nice heavier abs rod holders. They fit into the base very tight. There is a keyway tab built into the base as an additional safety measure. After you insert the holder part way you turn it before finally seating all they way down. That way if the holder is ever pulled up it will still be locked into the base until you turn it to align with the tab. This additional safety may help to prevent a loss if not paying attention or if it gets bumped loose for some reason. The rod locking ring is tight enough that I don't believe it could turn on it own or vibrate open. I do wish the locking ring itself would close all the way though. It is stopped from closing completely by maybe 1/8" or so due to the design but it is still functional as is. It can also secure a spin-caster although the reel will have to be up. The holder is large enough to accommodate larger diameter rod handles. The base can be mounted horizontally or vertically making it versatile. They do include bolts but no nuts/washers or screws for mounting. I did have to trim some of the plastic left from casting to get the parts to fit together properly so keep that in mind. Overall this is a fairly nice base mount rod holder set.

You really can't beat the quality you get for the price (around $20) for this 2 pack of LBW Fishing Rod Holders. I'm replacing my pair that are on my boat since one broke in a dockside mishap. These are the same size, so the typical size you would see widely sold. The difference to me is that these are built substantially thick and strong in the places they need to be. The rod lock buckle turns quite smoothly, something my old ones never did. The tilt angle adjuster is solidly built and holds the angle right where you tighten it. It appears to me that all metal hardware is stainless steel.The only part I'm disappointed with is the rotation angle adjustment. It's very tight and sticky, requiring quite a bit of pressure to release and turn. I do think it will loosen up after it wears in, being it's made out of ABS plastic.I included a pic of me holding it against the wall to show that it will sit flat and nothing will interfere if you have a unique mounting situation in your boat.These are quite hefty for mounting on a kayak, so you may want to look for something a tad smaller. But for a fishing boat these are a really good value.

I was immediately impressed by how heavy these were when I picked them up. They are not lightweight and flimsy and are made with solid ABS. I appreciate the rotating lock ring on the end, probably not needed for the fish I catch but it will add a nice piece of mind while trolling.Only two very minor gripes: The parts could have been trimmed a little better after being removed from the mold. There is a key down in the base that fits in the notch on the rod holder and it had a chunk from the molding process still attached and the pieces would not go together until I trimmed that off.They include nice stainless screws.....but no nuts to secure them. Odd choice but whatever.
