This turned out well, and the person I made it for loved it. However, the purple and pinks were much brighter than shown in the image in the listing. The listing is dark, and fits the look of the Nightmare Before Christmas. But the actual yarn is at least 4-5 shades brighter. It still looks nice, but doesn't quite have the same feel.The pillowcase was also narrower than the printed guide, by 3 rows. And shorter by 2 rows. So be sure to count the stitches before you start the latch hook, so you can decide which rows to skip on the pattern.They do give you more than enough yarn. I ended up with 3 completely unused bundles, and 7 that were half full to 3/4 full.The pillow case backing is nice and soft, and when finished, it looks equally good as the pillow it's supposed to be, or just hanging flat on the wall without a pillow.
