I have a platform I use for bench planes. I needed a low profile bench dog that is adjustable. These fit the bill. They are heavy and well made. They expand several inches making it possible to use various width of wood. The low profile makes it good for thinner cuts of wood.

The slab did not stay down on the table as the bench dogs are tightened up. The slab lifts up the more the bench dog is tightened.

These are small but heavy duty dog clamps (Need a table with dog holes). Ideal for cabinet or box making. Price is very affordable for the quality.

They work as expected in my 3/4" dog holes. each clamp has its own ratcheting wrench so that at first seemed a bit too much then while in use, it was nice to not have to look around where I put the wrench to tighten and loosen the clamp. For the money they were a good purchase for the job expected when the clamps needed to be below the 3/4" stock during sanding.
