My valves are Sayco. Teeth match and all. This extender is too large in diameter for standard Sayco valves. It was close but not right.

Close, but no cigar! This extension didn't quite fit for a generic water supply valve stem.

This product is just fine. My plumber told me to pick up a pair and said they should cost about $15 on Amazon . . . I was pleased to see they were slightly less than that. Then the package arrives and there's only ONE in the package! But I have two knobs in my shower . . . by the time my second one arrived I had lost the first one. When my third one arrived I couldn't find either of the first two . . . this went on for a few months, and one day my wife asked why there were so many of these funny spiky screws in the junk drawer. Since then I've also found them in my glove compartment and my desk at work . . . maybe this weekend I'll finally get around to installing two of them. What to do with the rest? I'm thinking maybe stringing a bunch of them together so I can add hot water to my bathtub without rising to a sitting position. So this review is 3 stars; if the vendor contacts me to let me know there's now a "by the pair" option I'll change the review to 5 stars. Happy Day!
