It's nice and should hold up. You should know that it is longer than many shirts: good to stay warm, less good if you want to layer it with another shirt. Silk is great for having a cozy feeling layer of warmth, not heavy.

Yes, this is pure silk. Very thin but very warm. Works great under sweaters without a lot of bulk

I have sensitive skin & have to wear silk undershirts. I have years of experience using different brands. This one is consistently good for fit, color, softness, & durability. I would recommend them to anyone

I've been getting Mom cozy silk longs for years. This top fit her extra small petite frame perfectly. She loves the crew neck (versus a scoop or "V") because it keeps her warmer. The sleeves were just right.

This fit perfectly and because it's so lightweight, it fits under all of my tops and sweaters! Plus, it adds that extra layer that helps keep me warm.

I only wear this to bed on very cold nights. And I only wash it with other silk items. It still pilled and snagged like it was 50 years old. It was much thinner than the first set I bought years ago, too.I think there are much better options out there.

For some reason when I purchased this silk top I was under the impression that it was part of a set that included the bottom too. I paid $56. To my disappointment only the top arrived which they now charge around $30 for just this one piece.I paid $56 for only the top! Well I was planning on returning my $56 silk shirt that everyone else can get for $30 but ended up wearing it instead. Big mistake. After just 9 hours of wearing it to bed by morning it was covered in pilling (tiny little balls that adhered to the fabric all over the exterior ). Now it looks awful already and it’s mine forever. Perhaps it was my 100% linen sheets that caused this?? Another brand of nearly identical 100% silk long underwear sold here on Amazon ( paradise silk)(Paid $50 for the 2 piece set ) that I have worn under the exact same conditions multiple times and washed many times (by hand) have not had any pilling and it feels both cool and warm - like real silk. They still look new after 6 months of use.The land’s End top is incredibly hot and doesn’t feel luxurious like the other brand. Not sure how two similar products that claim to be 100% silk can behave so differently and have different properties. I really thought I would be getting something of better quality with a known name brand. Fit: The only thing the lands end shirt has going for it is the longer cut, although the neck hole is slightly too small to look aesthetically pleasing.
