This is a good thermostat, specific for some uses, if what you are trying to control has already a plug on it, then I will suggest this instead:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNDNV5R3However this one with being just the cables make it a little bit more versatile for more industrial type applications, both work equally well based on my experience. Just the other is easier to "install" on most things that you will already have in your home.

It works just fine but it's smaller than I expected.

Looks like your typical digital controller. We got this as a backup in case one of our controllers died. We have 1 keezer and 3 fermenters (1 stand up refrigerator and 2 chest freezers) that we have temperature controllers attached to. Seems nice and clear well written instructions. We won't know for sure until we actually need to use it.

It works well as a P (proportional) controller, but I can’t see how it could be called a PID controller when there is no way to tune the parameters. A PID controller needs to be tuned to the system that it is controlling in order to optimize performance. It’s easy enough to program, and it maintains temperature within 0.2F. It is also easy to calibrate the sensor. There is no mention in the manual about tuning the parameters however, so calling this a PID controller is a head-scratcher.

This temperature controller works great. It's built to a standard that exceeds my hobby-grade use. It comes with good instructions, and clear, intuitive wiring. And, it has a clever mounting system that makes it easy to drop into any enclosure. There are latches on the side that ratchet into place, so it'll fit even a 1-inch thick case. Also, I like that the wired connection are well protected. The device is accurate to within 0.2C. Plus, it comes with a good probe.

This Ketotek is a hany controller that is effective, and easy to use. I use it to control a small ceramic disk heater to control the temperature in a small enclosure. It works wonderfully, turning the heater on and off as needed to maintain the temperature that I set for it. The display is nice and bright, and the buttons seem sturdy and responsive.

For those who want to control temperature accurately this is wonderful. It doesn't have the complicated wiring that bigger PID's do and can directly control up to 2 amp heat elements. Anything above 2 amps would need a separate Solid State Relay. Well built, east to read and easy to connect. Comes with the correct thermocouple so no guessing about pairing the two devices and complicated wiring.
