We have two of these locks for electric mountain bikes. We bought these because this is what the Lock Picking Lawyer uses. The locking mechanism is solid. Chains are harder to defeat than U-Locks or folding locks. The longer length on this makes it easy to wrap around a larger frame or lock up two bikes with one lock. These locks come with 3 keys each and one them has a built-in light to make unlocking easier at night. These are heavy duty chains/locks, and they are heavy and bulky. Each chain weighs almost 10 pounds, so it's like carrying a bowling ball around with you. They are relatively comfortable to wear over your shoulder.

I use this to lock up a pair of eBikes when I'm on a cycling trip and I need to walk away from my bikes for a few. It has provided adequate security for my bikes so far. The chain is a beast, thick and heavy. The 4 foot long 1012 model is long enough for me to lock up 2 bikes. The lock is heavy, almost 7 pounds.

I have a super nice ebike that I want to ride as transportation to places, but scared to leave it locked up. So many stories about stolen bikes. But, what's the point if I don't use it. So, I decided to get a heavy lock and hope for the best. I will probably also take my battery off and bring it in a store to deter someone from stealing a bike without a battery (the expensive part). This chain is crazy thick and heavy. I can't imagine a cutter getting through it and think you need a grinder. Not that those serious criminals don't have them, but at least your average crook might look elsewhere. I did a little research and it did get good ratings from experts. It's very heavy, but protected by a cover to not scratch your bike up. It has enough length to chain it to many things without too much trouble and I like the dust cover on the keyhole. I like this lock/chain combo and have high hopes for it.

This chain is much heavier than I thought it would be, which is great for security but not so great for carrying around. This would work great as a home security measure for a bicycle, electric scooter, or motorcycle, attaching it to a firm connection point would keep it there nearly permanently. The fabric covering on the chain works well to keep it from scratching paint, and the lock mechanism is heavy duty and would be difficult or impossible to pick. I've carried it around on bike rides, wearing it like a sash, but even in a bag or basket this would be awkward to move around. My advice: definitely pick this up to use at home, and get another lock to carry around.

This is an omega gigantic and heavy bike lock. Kryptonite are a big name in this space and I get it but how! This thing is solid and beefy and heavy. It is almost entirely covered in a rough bag for extra protection, and the key slot has a sliding cover on it to prevent environmental exposure. The company offers limited insurance on both your protected item and the keys for the lock itself, so impressive to see them standing by their product. This is a long guy and, again, quite heavy, so perhaps not the best for a long commute or off-roading but if security is paramount, can't imagine getting much heavier than this guy.

Sehr gute Handhabung und ein Schlüsselmit Licht. Lässt sich nur abschließen, wenn der Schlüsselsteckt . Dient natürlich der Sicherheit, ist aber auch irgendwie nervig. Die Länge von 1.20 m ist für mich ideal. Man kann auch mit einem dickeren Rahmen an jedem anderen Festpunkt das Schloss gut anschließen, aufgrund der angesprochenen Länge.

This is a very beefy bike chain and it is clearly labeled as such so as to deter any thefting eyes. The mechanism is very smooth and it is very easy to use and looks great. I knocked a star off because the cardboard inner package split open in transit. Nothing was damaged except that in her box which was smashed around by the heavy Steel chain.

Für mich war nur die Länge zu kurz. Die 160er Version passt für meinen Anwendungsfall besser.
