I am not a carpenter. I don't make things to sell, so I have no basis to judge this in terms of a professional. But for someone who can't rip straight with a circular saw, and is slightly afraid of a table saw, this was the perfect solution. I needed to rip several 4x8 sheets of plywood into 3" strips. This was the exact right set up.Instructions are good. Easy to follow. My amateur Ryobi circular saw fit into the guide and off we went. Very pleased with this purchase

Supper easy to use. Must have 7 1/2” blade to cut counter tops since the toboggan pushes you up 3/8ths. Tacky pad runs entire length of the aluminum guide. I recommend clamping each end, and adding a few pieces of green tape to provide positive hold. Especially with hardwoods, Maple Butcher block. Keep the trackpad cleaned with Windex and you will have straight cuts.

I like the ability to replicate cut after cut. I was very pleased with initial results. Assembly instructions pretty clear. Fairly easy to set up and to begin making sawdust. It’s a pretty reliable system and would recommend to others.

Good if you don't want to buy a track circular saw just yet.The track to saw plate has some wiggle, but it's fine if you apply some leftward pressure while cutting. The track never moves mid cut because of the grabby feet. It's pretty accurate but not table saw accurate as should be expected. Great value, good performance.

Had quite a few 4 x 8 ft sheets of OSB to cut up, and this made it much easier and a lot more accurate. My Evolution circular saw fitted perfectly. Nice and easy to set up and use.

Works surprisingly well. Need to stabelize the track as you cut but that is easy by just putting a bit of pressure on the track. Cuts of hard maple resulted in straight cuts with no problems and cross cut of 3/4 in. plywood was very easy.

This will speed up your cutting/ripping 10 fold! I was hesitant but soon proved myself wrong! Accuracy is spot on, speed is just wow! Lay it on your mark, set your track saw on the rails and bam, your cut is precise, straight and you'll be happy, just like I was! Buy this, you'll love it!!

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SETTING IT UP SO YOU DON'T LOSE YOUR FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!To be fair, it does speed up long cuts but there is a trade off....I purchased this as a guide for my Milwaukee circular saw. The saw is awesome! My opinion of this guide however, can be summed up with one word that starts with "shhhhhh" and ends with "it"...Here are a few pain points:1. First of all, Kreg's instruction dept. needs to take a page out of Ikeas instruction playbook stat. Add some pictures team!!! If there is ANY confusion about how the blade guide is supposed to rest in between the openings in the sled this system will either damage the work piece when the saw is set down or even worse, cause someone to lose fingers. ADD A WARNING or at least a special note.2. The sled limits the ability to add much more than 5 or 10 degrees to a cut rendering it useless for back cuts on things like the bottom of fascia boards. Not many are this fastidious but the example is where I noticed the problem.3. The blue, adhesive backed friction/ guide strips become millions of plastic shavings during the setup phase. So unless you have a vacuum system on your saw or if you are setting this up on the jobsite, expect to have blue, statically charged shavings all over the place. If you're a anti-microplastics activist, you will run away screaming like you did when you realized that emergency electric car chargers get their power from gas/diesel generators.4. There is enough play between the guide rails and the sled that the saw blade will frequently contact the guide strip causing little inconsistencies in the surface which also acts as an alignment guide for each cut. This means that when you try to align the edge with a cutline later you have to guess a bit adding "fudge" to a recipe that doesn't call for it. If you really want to be accurate, you have to bring in another straight edge and THAT is silly.5. The sled mounting screws will booger of the top of your saws shoe/base. They are pointy and don't require much torque to tighten them down. They grip well but why leave a mark at all? There are some other frustrating things of little consequence but these are the pertinent ones.

If you already have a circular saw just buy this !I have big projects with 4*8 sheets so I was looking for track saw which are 4 times more expensive. After a lot of reviews I gave this a try and it's perfect! The only thing you can't do compared to a track saw are the 45 degrees cut.Otherwise for straight cuts it's perfect. Add a new blade to your saw... Take time to properly set it up and can build whatever you want
