Updated Kitchen so had to replace my KOHLER 1987 yellow cast iron sink with a new one. This one was identical to my old one but black in color and deeper sinks. Like the deeper sinks and how well made the it is. Looks amazing in my newly renovated kitchen.

When the box was opened the sink was cracked and chipped. I can't return the sink because the warranty expired 2 days ago. I will NEVER buy anything fro Kohler again. I just threw $333.00 out the window!

The porcelain can stain if you're not careful. You also have to worry about cracking and chipping it, if you drop a glass or a pan into it. Further, metal pans, or silverware can cause dark colored surface scratches if there is any rubbing between metal and porcelain. Also, the porcelain, I have found, is just generally hard to clean. Things stick to it more so than in a steel sink and you really have to scrub it.For the kind of money I spent on this sink, it shouldn't be giving me so many problems.

Be very wary of Kohler sinks. I needed to replace a 15 year old Kohler cast iron sink. Ordered replacement Kohler sink from Home Depot. It had a defective coating. The next replacement did also. Kohler authorized replacements and we went to stainless steel. The first replacement was dinged and warped out of the box. The second had a ding in the same spot. Finally the last one I had inspected prior to shipping and again upon arrival at Home Depot. It still had a small warp in it which I was able to straighten out. HD staff helpful, but Kohler products are SH*T. I would never again buy or recommend Kohler. They are expensive and poor quality. How many sinks do you have to order to get one that's acceptable??? Shouldn't be five!!! See the attached pic.
