Luckily found this stem driver to fix the broken stem driver in my hot/cold handle of my Kohler Devonshire Roman Tub faucet. Without this piece, I would have to put in a new faucet system which would have costed me over $1000 in parts and labor. This $5 stem driver as a life saver.The most complicated task of this project was finding what this piece is called and then finding the manufacturer of my faucet since the previous owner didn't leave any manuals or details. Neither is Kohler stamped on the faucet anywhere. But after identifying Kohler and then sifting thru the different stem drivers from Kohler since Kohler doesn't listed this part# in the manual I was able to find the right now and repair my faucet. Now it is good as new.

After a few accidental bumps getting in and out of the bath, the handle gets loose. This plastic piece is what connects the handle to the stem, so it protects the valve stem from damage, but a few too many bumps and the plastic deform. Cheap and quick fix, but annoying to do so more than once.

WOW!It fixed my hot water handle on the above sink faucet that just kept spinning.Easy fix without having to go under sink.This was for a Kohler K-394-4 Devonshire Widespread Bathroom Faucet with UltraGlide that retails for $325 that I had considered just replacing the whole thing. I had replaced the cartridge prior as I inherited what was left to me when I bought the house, and it just constantly dripped. I thought I had fixed it because it stopped leaking, but I didn't realize that someone had been cranking hard on the handle to try to shut it off, and that wasn't the issue. So this little gizmo is up inside of the handle itself, and you wouldn't necessarily think to look here.Unscrew the large "bonnet" from the stem, then turn the handle assembly upside down. You will only see the bottom of this piece as a white circle. Take a medium size phillips screwdriver with a long neck and place it all the way down inside and unscrew the hidden screw. (again this is the assembly - not the cartridge on the sink). remove the old piece of plastic. When you replace the new one, be sure that the square indentation is locking into place with the handle tip before screwing it it. Now simply replace the "bonnet", but be sure of the position that the handle is in to match alignment with the other handle first. just screw the "bonnet" down on the cartridge assembly and you are done... about 15 minutes is all...
