I used one on a Kenwood and another on a Connect Systems 300 radio. The old mics with PTT switches would drop out at the worst possible time. These have provided good audio and haven't dropped out once.

I bought this to replace the mic for my two way radio in my truck at work since someone decided they needed mine more than I did. Really good quality. Looks like the original. Sounds great. Great value for the money.

I cut off and re-crimped the radio end wiring to match up with a TYT TH-9000D PRO FM transceiver. The sound quality is very good for a low cost microphone, and fit my needs perfectly.
