We've ordered two of these routers for camera systems in locations where wifi wasn't available. So we even had to use a hotspot to use the router to hook up the cameras. But we didn't have any problem with it. We did use kittyhok cameras with the router, and for the hotspot, we used nightgear, and for the provider we used mint.
