Ordered these: Kitchen Grilling Tongs 9"+12”, 2Pcs Stainless Steel Tong for Cooking with Stand - to use in the camper. Their compact shape is perfect for that application. They are reasonably thick, but still flex some so not quite your high end tongs, but certainly solid for the price point. I do not like the plastic stands... they get in the way of the food, take up room in the drawer and are a little gimmicky. Easy to snap out though. These came wrapped in thin plastic, in great shape and in their own branded box.The silicone on the handle is small and does not wrap the entire handle. At full review price these are a fair deal, the spring action feels good in the hand and the locking mechanism works well and saves space.Vine Disclaimer: I try and write helpful and honest reviews about products I use personally. These are an affordable set of standard metal tongs that have one extra feature that makes them rise above a sea of similar tongs. The little kick stand! When I'm cooking on the stove or grilling, I always need a place to set my tongs where they don't get exposed to a surface. The little stands keep them elevated and hovering over a dish or towel, whatever I've set up to catch any drips. It's a nice touch to a common kitchen item. The images on the product description are clear that these tongs don't have a silicon coating, but the image on the box they come in does show a silicon coating. I was not expecting a coating, but the inaccuracy should be noted.

These are a great set of tongs with little feet that make them easy to place on work surfaces without the teeth touching a countertop. They've quickly become my go-to whenever I'm working with food that isn't in contact with my non-stick pans. I wish these had rubberized teeth (or attachments that I could slide on). I occasionally use them on non-stick pans but I'm a little worried they might scratch. Still, I can hardly complain that they don't have a feature they were not designed to have. They're great value for money for what they are.

I love these tongs. The 2 different t sizes come in handy. I also love the little kick stands on these tongs. Seems super comfortable in my hand and will make a great replacement for my older ones which have seen their better days. Great tongs for the bbq or the kitchen. I highly recommend these.

I got these tongs to handle my charcoal. I was concerned they wouldn't be able to withstand heat too well but I was proven wrong. I held a piece of lump coal with the longer tong as I lighted it using my propane torch. Over the course of several minutes and upwards of maybe 1000° F, the tongs held its shape and integrity admirably.They have a good spring; their locking mechanisms work well; and they even have little protruding triangles so they won't sully the counter if their full of sauce or raw meat juices.

I just started replacing a bunch of my kitchen utensils and I am so happy with these. They feel well made and study.There are two sets of tongs, different lengths. Both have a nice light blue silicon on the ends as well as a counter rest to keep everything clean. There is a small circle at the top which made hanging these easy for storage. You can also push that circle down to use the tongs or pull it up to lock them closed. Huge upgrade from my old ones!

I like the feet - very good idea kudos. I would wash these first - to get rid of the manufacturing oil. Debris. There is a funny little silicone hook in the vee shaped feet and I don't know why its there, Think I might cut it off with a razor knife if it hold food in the dish washer which it probably won't. THE FEET are great why didn't I invent that. Like the retro 1950's color. The box show the claw incased in silicone - don't worry they aren't - I would not have bought them that way. I'm not putting silicone against my meat in the fire - silicone is fine for a handle but not in the fire - who knows what's outgassing.. Oh and the gage is ok - I have seen cheap tongs with gage so thin they could hardly hold onto anything - these are not those. the loop on the end means you could hang them on a nail, on the wall and the feet would hold them off the wall

My trusty pair of tongs snapped in half - which meant I had to serve my salad with a spoon.I was looking for a pair of replacement tongs and came across these - they are FANTASTIC. I was worried that the 12" long pair would be too big - but the 12" pair is actually the same size as my original tongs that broke. The 9" pair of tongs is perfect for smaller flipping jobs.Both pairs of tongs are well made. They open & close easily & smoothly. They have a "lock" on the end that you pull/release so the tongs stay shut or open.My favorite feature of these tongs though is the little triangles along the handle - that way, you can set them down on the counter & the "head" of the tongs is lifted up off of the counter. In other words: it keeps your counter clean! I didn't even realize that these tongs had that feature until I opened the box - so that was a great surprise!
