We received the Kipika Heavy Bag Hanger for free, and while it's designed for heavy punching bags, we've repurposed it for a different kind of workout – swinging! We installed it in our basement to hang a kids' swing, and it's proven to be a remarkably sturdy and reliable mount.The build quality is immediately apparent. This thing is solid. The steel construction feels incredibly robust, and I have no doubt it could easily handle the weight of a heavy punching bag, as intended. In our case, it provides a secure and stable anchor for the kids' swing, giving us complete peace of mind.Installation was straightforward. We mounted it to a sturdy wood beam in the basement ceiling, and it feels rock-solid. The included hardware seems to be of good quality, and the hanger itself is well-designed.Our kids have been swinging with gusto, and the Kipika hanger hasn't budged an inch. It's handled their energetic play with ease, demonstrating its impressive weight-bearing capacity. I'm confident it could hold some serious weight, far beyond what our kids can generate, so I'm not at all worried about it failing.My only minor gripe is with the pin mechanism that secures the hanging loop. It's a bit stiff and can be tricky to remove when we want to take the swing down. While this is a minor inconvenience, it does reinforce the sense of security. It's clear that this pin isn't going to accidentally dislodge.While we're not using it for its intended purpose, the Kipika Heavy Bag Hanger has proven to be an excellent and versatile mount. It's strong, durable, and provides a safe and reliable anchor for our kids' swing. If it can handle the constant motion and weight of a swinging child, I have no doubt it can handle the demands of a heavy punching bag. If you are looking for something to hold a large amount of weight, this product is for you.

This was far better construction than I expected. I'm using it to hang a hammock-seat and it's perfect for that. The swivels are silent and it came with both lag screws and drive in anchors. 10/10, highly recommend

A bracket like this at a big box store would cost at least $50, and probably closer to $100, so you can definitely save some money with the Kipika. Nothing to criticize here. It is well machined, powder coated, and very heavy duty with quality to match. It has multiple uses, so I wouldn't hesitate to use it for a swing, storage, etc.

The bracket is super sturdy and the swivel/bearing seems pretty good, but the instructions are lacking. IF YOU ARE INSTALLING INTO WOOD, YOU NEED TO PRE-DRILL PILOT HOLES. This is done so your wood doesn't split with 4 large screws being so close to each other. I'd also suggest that you don't install them with the grain if you can. I would love Bolt/screw call outs too so I can use the proper drill bit.

Every part of this is solid and well-made. This will outlast any bag I attach to it, for sure.I got the C version, and was delighted to see that it came with a plastic spindle attached to the hanging bar in case you want to use this as a pulley to hang the bag from a rope or cable for quick raising and lowering of bags... or just as a pulley in general. The pictures and text don't include the spindle, but it's easy enough to remove if you don't want it. I like it, and I'm leaving it attached.Drawback of this more-complex design is there are a lot more pieces to clatter with heavy hits, or especially with kicks that make the bag airborne momentarily, but if you're hanging the bag on chains, that's not going to be a noticible difference.All told, a lovely, brutish bag hanger.

This bag hanger works great and lets my heavy bag (80lbs) spin when I kick it hard. I had it on ratchet straps previously and it was annoying how the bag would wind up the straps, then unwind and keep spinning. One thing I would recommend is to use some sort of webbing to attach the metal D-ring on your heavy bag to this hanger. If that metal D-ring wears all the way through, you're gonna have to buy yourself another bag!
