This is a fairly basic sling. The material is polyester but soft and not scratchy. Great for temporary wear, but it does not have padding, so all day wear may be uncomfortable. The sling fits my 7 year old well. It does come with shoulder straps which is nice, but the arm part is not padded. You could add a small cloth to make it more comfortable if it was needed for long time wear. This is great for minor injuries that need a sling for a short period of time. It also provides validation for my kids when they have minor injuries that they insist are major. I like that the clasps swivel and move rather than being fixed in place.

This comes in a minimalist packaging aka plastic bag, No instructions is enclosed. The material used in the sling is thin and just polyester with no padding. Very simple basic sling brace. Purchasing this and using this would really be a matter of personal preference!

My grandson has done something to his arm and I knew that I would be able to get a shoulder/arm sling quickly for him so that the pressure will be relieved quickly. This will keep his arm in a position that doesn’t cause it to move around. It is also comfortable feeling so that will make him more comfortable. There was no evidence of a break, so he may have just sprained his wrist, or elbow.Being able to quickly mobilize his arm is the best thing to do, per Dr’s instructions. I’m just so glad that Amazon delivers so quickly. Not only quickly, but this is the right size, and it fits him well. The extra padding pieces, that were included, definitely help to put around the neck piece of the shoulder arm sling for comfort. I’m glad that they included 2 of them so that I can use them both for his neck area, and where the shoulder piece comes down around the clavicle. The sling is super easy to adjust for size, and comfort. It is easy to have him slip his arm in, after we put it around his shoulder.I must add that not only did we receive this shoulder/arm sling quickly, but we are also very happy with the price. This is a definite win, win for my grandson as well as us, as grandparents. We hate to see him hurting and this sling will definitely help.
