Best coffee. Just bought 6 bags on sale and blend it with Kick Ass, which is also good. I've become a horrible coffee snob (Chemex, bloom, slow pour, organic, etc.) which is truly awful and I (almost) hate myself. I have tried many, many whole bean coffees. This is my new fave. Must try!

This coffee is so good! This is the first bag of Kicking Horse I’ve ever tried and now I bought another bag (Kick Ass blend) to try. I went through this entire bag within a week by myself. It is so easy to dial in and it tastes so smooth. I drink mine as an iced latte and no matter what syrup I add, the chocolate notes really come through on the aftertaste. It is so delicious. I’m happy I finally decided to try Kicking Horse. You have a new fan and a returning customer for life. Keep it up!

LOVE this roast! It’s strong, smooth, and delicious. No burnt taste. Love the size and that it’s organic/mold free. This is the best price for high quality coffee. This is a nice nutty/chocolate flavor. I found kicking horse medium roasts to be a bit light for my taste. Grizzly Claw is perfection!

I love kicking horse coffee. My complaint is with the Seller "Layger" brutally over price and takes way to long to get it. Buy this great voffe from anyone else. 3 bags cost me over 150 bucks. After I saw the price I figured I choose a larger quantity but nope ripped off on 3 little bags. Again it's not the coffee I'm writing about it's the seller" Layger "

The price is good. However, the taste is just not there for me. I have tried the dark roast a few times, and every time I have found something lacking. I kept coming back because I thought maybe it was just the bag that particular time, but it's every bag. It's not a bad taste, but there's nothing fantastic about it and nothing that says "dark roast" to me. It's definitely not as strong as I expect a dark roast to taste, and it actually tastes a bit weak to me. And unlike other people, I'm not tasting any chocolatey undertones. UPDATED: I'm updating to 3.5, but not 4, stars because of a couple of things. Today, I was at the end of the last bag I purchased so I added the last scoop I had left. It actually moved the coffee closer to the dark roast taste I like. I am overly-generous with my scoops when I make coffee, so I probably already add an additional scoop. So, adding that extra scoop was probably the equivalent of adding an additional 2-2.5 scoops, which shouldn't be necessary to get a good taste profile. Also, I let my last cup sit for too long, and it got a little cold. As one other person stated, at that point, I did taste some chocolately undertones. I don't like cold coffee, so this wouldn't happen with how I drink my coffee typically. I don't want, or think I should have, to do either/both of these things every time I make coffee, which is why I won't upgrade this to 4 stars, but hopefully this helps some people who may be on the fence about buying this particular version.

This is one of the best brands of coffee on the market today. And the Grizzly Claw is one of my absolute favorites.Pros: I can get this product in 2 days with Amazon and it comes in a variety of sizes. It is dark, rich, and has a very distinct chocolate flavor. It's great for brewing in a French press. The beans are very oily and have a rich smell. All of the beans I have ordered from the company in the past year have been fresh and delightful.Cons: As a dark roast these beans don't have a very bright or acidic flavor. But from my knowledge they aren't supposed to either.Overall, these are great beans for the money. I prefer some of their dark roasts. Just some great everyday coffee.Go ahead and do yourself a favor and try some today!
