I did quite a few days in the field upland hunting this season and this belt was much nicer to have on than my backpack I was previously using. I wear a size 40 pant and this fit without issue. Quality pouches that held my ammo, doves, water, and snacks. It would hold quail and dove easily, but chukar sized birds and bigger would be an issue and a vest or backpack would be a better option. Easy to put together and use. Worth the price.

For the price you're getting a lot with this belt. The quality isn't outstanding but it will definitely last you a while and it comes with everything you need to fill out. Don't use the shoulder strap so I can't speak for that.

this product works just as it should. i dint use it around my waist but it hooks around the bucket i sit on well. Holds your shells, knife, and other items. pefect

Bags and belt seem to be made of good quality but I cant use it. It came with 2 female buckles so there is no way to buckle the belt to wear it.

I'm a pretty avid bird hunter, as are many of my friends. I will say that most bird hunters would actually be very glad to receive this as a gift if they don't already have a very good bird hunting belt.I have more than one game bird belt, but this one is the nicest one that I have. It's one of the most well thought and ones that I have seen. If you need a good gift for a dove or quail hunter, this belt would be an excellent one. I don't hunt pheasants, But I think the game bag should hold several. In case you don't know, this is not the type of gear most duck hunters would use.I especially like the vented area that holds the birds. I hunt in Texas and keeping the birds as cool as possible is very important.Other features that I like are the suspenders and the pocket to carry a water bottle. Two boxes of shotgun shells are pretty heavy, and they will often make belts without suspenders sag or slide around.It is often +95F on opening day where I hunt, and staying hydrated is critical. Plus, anyone with a hunting dog will like having some water handy in case their four footed friend gets overheated.

At this point, this is probably my favorite dove belt, mostly because of the belt itself. It reminds me of a "battle belt" with its thick, wide profile and secure weight distribution. Including suspenders is also a big bonus. The material feels quite heavy duty and feels like it will last years (I've only had it out on one outing so far).There are two quirks that I find a bit annoying however - one is the shell pouches aren't the typical "straight open" type where you have a flap over the top that you can just reach u er itself the way you'd do with a kid's sack lunch. This makes it a bit of a hassle (especially with gloves on) to quickly retrieve shells - you have to dig around a bit to get into the compartment. Also the game bag is a weird design where the top opens via a zipper and really needs to be zipped/unzipped if you want to keep game secure. This means that its fine if you're standing or sitting in one place, but if you are on the move, you need to unzip it every time you want to put a bird in there and then zip it afterwards, which really means you need to spin the belt on your waist to get to it (unless you are far more flexible than me). If you're wearing the suspenders, this is particularly tricky.The second quirk is one I have found to be very common with this type of product that is not made by an American company - the MOLLE is not really correct. The belt seems fine, but the pouches can't really weave properly because of the spacing. That being said, they still work fine and this is a very good dove belt, particularly if you are standing or sitting in a blind and won't be moving around much.

This is a decent full set for upland game or waterfowl hunting. The two shell pouches hold a full box of 25 each and the game pouch at the rear is ok for grouse/quail/rabbit. The suspenders are essential if you have this fully loaded, so it's nice that they are included.
