I love Keen’s and will not buy another brand. I am not sneaker hiking shoe fan. I don’t have the traction or the brand durability. They are barely used and the tread is separating. I tried and am definitely a boot person.

True to size, comfortable and I love the ankle support. Wore them for our Africa trip and they were definitely worth it for all of the walking.

These fit properly, look nice, are comfortable, and have proven to be waterproof so far. I'm pleased with them! I got them for a hiking trip and went several miles over all kinds of terrain and weather conditions - relatively challenging hiking trails, and they performed well. Hopefully they will continue to last!

I usually wear a 9.5. I had to go up a full-size to a 10.5 to allow my toes to be able to wiggle and not be pressed against the toe of the shoe. In the photo you see my old keen and the new. I like the wider shoe with the larger toe box of my old pair better. They were incredibly comfortable the moment I took them home. I like the style of shoe because it is flexible and light as it is a sneaker style rather than a stiff boot style. If you want a stiff boot, do not get this shoe. I think most people buy this brand due to it is more roomy. It would be good for the company to recognize that and be consistent with the wider toe box sizing. Or they will lose their dedicated followers. I will keep the 10.5 it will work.

I never gave much thought to hiking shoes until my husband and I trekked through one of Texas' many state parks and I tweaked my ankle a couple miles from the trail head on some shifty terrain. After that trip I retired my "trail" tennis shoes and started researching hiking boots. I walked around REI in a pair of Merrell's for about 30 minutes and while they were somewhat comfy they were quite heavy and my legs felt like I'd spent a half hour at the gym. So I went back to the drawing board and found Keen and I'm glad I did. I put them on when they came in and walked around my office in them for a few minutes; then proceeded to wear them on a 6 mile hike the next day. They required no break-in time! They are incredibly comfortable straight out of the box. They are lightweight and they are waterproof which is a huge bonus!A couple thigs to note...These are a narrower designed shoe so plan to go up a size if you have a wider foot or if you wear thicker socks. I normally wear a 6 but ordered a 7 to accommodate my hiking socks and I am very pleased with my purchase.Plan to have to pause a couple of times and adjust your laces until you figure out how tight/lose to get them around the shaft of the boot. Once I got that dialed in I was good to go!

I bought these about 4 months ago for a trip to Montana, I was sent the wrong ones but eventually found them in stores. I’m pretty constantly a size 6 unless the shoe is a little wide then I’m a 5.5. I ordered a 6 and they are pretty narrow so I was worried about them being uncomfortable with hiking socks. I loosened the laces as much as I could and they felt great.I wore these straight out of the box to hike in the mountains daily for a week and had no blisters, aches, or pains. I specifically went with these due to them being so lightweight and the cross between a hiking boot and tennis shoe.Things to beware of-They are not waterproof. My feet stayed dry the first time trekking through some water but once they were fully exposed to water while out in some rain they now soak in any ounce of moisture.-Traction is awful in gritty/sandy dirt and wet surfaces. The tread is actually good however traction is non existent rocky terrain with gritty dirt or moisture.-The shoe strings are skinny and short. Simple fix would be replacing them. Problem is the holes are smaller than most shoes so thicker laces won’t fit. Since these are narrow the length of my laces are maxed out and I struggle to get them tied securely.Besides those issues they are extremely comfortable and have held up well with all the dirt, mud, water, and miles they’ve been through these past 4 months.

Love these boots! Comfortable right out of the gate. Plenty of toe space, great ankle support, good traction, water resistant, good arch support, and not overly hot. Also, great looking boots! Not heavy or clunky. What more could you ask for in a boot? I have very high arches and these boots are supportive as is. At first I added a thin insole, but found I didnt really need it. If you do anticipate needing a substantial insole, I would go up a half size, perhaps. They are water resistant, but full on walking through deep creeks... not so sure about. Rain, puddles, mud...great. The only downside, as some others noted, is that you will undoubtedly get some wearing (rips) on top of the shoe where the foot bends. I have been wearing the boots for two seasons for daily walks of 3miles-ish (mostly just in fall and winters) and just noticed the holes recently... I'm sad, but have gotten tons of use and they are still very functional with many miles leftin them.

Fitted comfortably with one pair of normal socks. Went straight off and did a day walk across open moor, the boots were great. No blisters, no aching feet; they were genuinely waterproof (stepped into a stream and feet stayed dry). The sole gripped so well I had a job to shift it when I wanted to!

Tried a few hiking shoes on and they were big and clunky. These are just perfect, great fit, not too heavy but good ankle support. Bought some for myself, then my daughter also wanted a pair. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Amazon!Highly recommend

Arrived very promptly. Fit well, lovely to look at. Hopefully they will last for the price. I’m a small size 7 so bought a 6.5 which fit well. I also have wide feet so it’s great that they fit so nicely. Thank you
