Use a piece of freezer bag to keep food from sticking to the kebab press base "bottom part". Do not use a thin plastic food wrap (Cling film) it is hard to remove it from the formed kebab.

Easy and fast to make kebabs instead of doing it by hand. You can use this without the sticks. A good kitchen tool to have for kebabs.

I bought to use with all metal skewers. The skewers fit well. I put a piece of plastic wrap to prevent themeat from sticking. I like that when I cooked the kabobs they kept their shape, did not fall off during cooking. The thickness was what I wanted and they were all uniform in size and cooked evenly. i dont think I would of been able to hand shape them as well with out the press

I used this to make hot dog shaped logs of seasoned ground beef and it was easy to get the food out. It also went through the top rack of the dishwasher and cleaned up easily.

I put the meat and brought the second part over and push it down. Nothing happened. The most useless gadget I ever bought.

This is better than I thought it would be. I must say it works pretty good. Make sure to use some sort of plastic bag to ensure the meat does not stick to it and makes cleaning easier.
