Adapter for drill is included. I use a Ryobi impact driver and they went in pretty easy (I have a lot of rock in my soil). I had been using stake and rope to secure a canopy and had to take down the canopy in a hurry when the snow started. On one of these I just untied the rope from the canopy and tossed the rope out of the way. A week later, I forgot about it and was using snow blower and rope caught in augers. Stake would not come up but pulled snow blower right up to the stake even with me pulling on it. (Had to cut rope off of stake to get untangled from snow blower and then unscrew stake to get it out of the ground).

If you camp in all weather these are great for shade walls, popups, tarps, run lines, etc

These anchors make my canopy super sturdy, i love how they drill into the ground and are solid. They work really well and are really easy in install, just use your drill. The design length is perfect for their purpose.

work well. a bit tricky to use in heavy clay or rocky soil. but if you get them anchored they hold very well.

The narrow blades mean I wouldn't necessarily trust these alone to hold something like a trampoline in decent winds and soggy ground, but they'll do fine and pinning up a tent in decent weather or staking a tree up, etc.

This past fall, I had to throw away a pop-up tent we were using for shelter as we worked outside. We had a severe wind event that caught the tent at the right angle to lift it and flip it upside down. bending the frame beyond use or repair. The thin, straight stakes that came with the tent were too flimsy to hold it in place. When I saw these spiral anchors, I decided to give them a try since I had just ordered a new pop-up tent. They are easy to install in the ground with a drill and the included attachment. The are sturdy and I can't remove them from the ground by pulling on them by hand. When it is necessary to take them up for storage, I will use the drill to wind them out in reverse. Great aid for staking anything, and good to have on hand. These would be great installing as an anchor to temporarily lock and secure outdoor equipment, bicycles, etc. to deter theft.

I bought a second-hand carport and needed to install it myself. I did a lot of research and found these earth anchors. They were easy to place (except the one I accidentally tried to install right into a tree root, but can't blame the anchor for that) and they're long and sturdy. They've done a great job so far in anchoring down my carport!

These ground anchors are solid and they dig in well. They seem to hold very well but I am only using them to support a Gazebo when we go camping. They work much better than the stakes the gazebo came with. They are easy to use they come with a 14mm socket that fits in a drill. The socket is also very solid not cheap like some I have seen in the past. The anchors penetrate the ground very easily especially using the drill. I have no complaints I love these anchors and they are small enough to easily pack in with our gazebo.
