Very strong and great to fish with very durable and long lasting fishing string. The only brand I like.

I usually use Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon, but when this was on sale I decided to give it a try. I'm pretty sure I've found my new fluorocarbon line. This is thinner than Vanish and seems to be stronger. I have far less breakoffs (I use 6# on my BFS fishing gear) than with Vanish. I noticed a lot of my breakoffs occur at the knot with Vanish, but this KastKing line seems to knot better. I really like it and the price (even regular price) is great.

Great leader line for my setup, cast ability is smooth and low memory in the line

No dislikes. Line quality is very smooth and does not hold memory.

I think it is a good budget option, but slightly weaker than Trilene, for instance.

Update of review posted on July 25, 2023.The initial review focused on the line not being the size ordered, or advertised on the Amazon web site. The box said 15 lb test should have a diameter of 0.35 mm. Using my digital calipers, the line measured between 0.28 mm and 0.30 mm. I used two different digital calipers and both measured diameters significantly smaller than 0.35 mm. See pictures. The measured diameter of the line is more in keeping with 10 lb test line. Before writing my review, I measured other brand fishing line I have in the shop and it measured exactly as advertised for that line. There was no response from KastKing after I followed up through the Amazon in July 2023.I loaded a reel with this line. It was difficult to load the reel due to heavy twist in the line. The line tangled several times while casting. The wind knots were so bad that the line had to be cut twice to put the reel back into service. I will probably take this line out of service and either throw it away or use it for some non-fishing purpose.I'm done with KastKing.

Excellent castability, low memory and almost invisible underwater. I typically use a San Diego Jam knot and my experience with thin line is that it snaps when you tighten the line, this line is strong and not brittle. I also notices that the line has almost no stretch. I am going to try the 10lb as a leader for my Crappie fishing. The Kovert is a great value for the price and would highly recommend.
