Very nice and exciting sandbox for a kid with a big imagination!The sandbox is a healthy size and very suitable for 2-3 kids at a time. The wood is softer than I would like but it seems like it is made out of a cedar so it should naturally be a replant to pests. That said, I feel the need to give this whole box a coat of polyurethane before putting it outside.Assembly was super easy especially with the use of a power tool. Took me roughly 20 mins from box opening to playtime.I wish this came with a fabric cover for keeping rain out. But I found a cheap one that would fit this sandbox.The bins were great. Nice solid plastic. The only problem is that the bins will collect standing water so I need to add drainage holes in both bins.All in all, this is an excellent sandbox! I wish I had it when I was a kid.

Fits great, helps preserve the wood and protect from sun bleaching and other elements. Plus makes sure the lid stays completely closed. Easy to place on the sand box. Just double check your box size before ordered.

Easy to put on , gives you a little wiggle room depending on the size you may have. But tightens at the bottom to give you a snug fit! It’s so windy today and that top has no problem the wood was the two sides I took off so the cover would fit, but it does fine without weight on the top. I actually have my outdoor wooden game boards under that to keep those dry and intact as well.
