I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. They both love this Kaskey Kids set equally...every single day it gets used for at least an hour, usually 2+ hours between both kids. They sometimes fight over the set, so we ended up getting them another set with NHL branding, but that set doesn't have numbers on the guys, so they actually don't like it as much as this set. They incorporate the set into play with other toys as well, for example they use legos to build an arena around the mat, or use their playmobil bus to "transport the players to the rink." For such a simple toy, it sparks so much creativity and brings a lot of joy to my children. I would recommend it to anyone with a hockey-loving child!

1/2 the price of the 'real nhl teams' is totally worth it. Unless your kid is really picky about the colours then get this one.

Good purchase. Son plays along during a televised game and recreates the plays!Unfortunately for me, i had to buy two of them because my 2 sons kept fighting over the initial set. Been worth it however.

This toy is incredible! Only issue I have is the rink mat doesn't connect to the "boards" and it's very wrinkly which makes it hard to play on it for the first little bit. My 9 year old loves it.

My four year old son will play with this alone forever!! Even if we ask to join in, he won't let us. What a precious gift for a Mama, who has lots of dishes to finish. It is a great toy for quiet time, as it reduces TV time and brings out his imagination. He loves it and I love it too!! We used it to decorate his birthday cake too!

This is actually the second time I bought this toy for my son. He is now seven and had the first one since he was 3 or 4 years old. When he was younger he did not care for the plastic boards, which ultimately broke. They are a little hard to fit together or take apart for a younger child, and do not fit easily into the carry case.However, that being said, even without the boards, he loved playing with the ice surface and players. He would re-enact Bruins games and do the play by play. As he grew, he wanted to have the side boards again and would often build them with blocks. He plays with this toy so often that I wanted to give him a chance to have a new one now that he was older.I love the fact that it is not an electronic game but rather one that encourages his imagination. I think of them as the sports fans version of old fashion army men. My son also has the Baseball and football version of this toy. His favorite is definately the hockey as it has the puck that adds more to the play. The other two only come with the players to be repositioned on the playing fields.
