Differences between silicone tubing and BPT tubing.
1. BPT tubing has very good resistance to general chemicals, as well as excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and oxides. The product is opaque and resistant to UV radiation, thus helping to protect sensitive fluids. Pump tube working temperature: -60℃~135℃. The working life of the pump hose is around 1000 hours.
2. Silicone tubing is suitable for general common liquid media. It has low adsorption, good temperature resistance, not easy to age, low precipitates, etc. The chemical resistance decreases with the increase of temperature. Working temperature: -60℃~200℃. The working life of the pump tube is about 200 hours.
Attention.
1. The working principle of peristaltic pump is to pump the liquid by driving the rotor inside the pump head to squeeze the pump tube, so the pump tube is a consumable.
2. If you need to pump chemical liquids and are not sure if silicone tubing or BPT tubing is suitable, please ask.
