Overall the kit is great. The instructions are easy to follow and the thread and fabric are nice quality. The only problem is that there is a wrong color of thread in the tiger kit. There are a lot of leaves pictured at the bottom which are supposed to be green. In the kit however, you are provided with a dark brown. Using the brown would alter the look of the finished cross-stitch considerably, so now I need to buy some green thread.

I'm still working on this cross stitch and am excited to see the finished product! I really like the stamped design with the numbers as it's easy to follow. The floss colors are so vibrant and so far, there is plenty of each color. I highly recommend this design!

Normally I stay with counted cross stich, as I find it more fun. I avoid stamped. This stamped on is so beautiful and the material is so soft. Love. This comes from China. Be patient it will take awhile to get to you. I ordered two different kits and one did not arrive with the embroidery floss, it was lost in customs. I just ordered the floss from DMC. That is not the company's fault, just thought you should know if you experience the same thing. I'm very happy.

My wife is a purist, it's got to be white Aida. Until this one. Now she loves to stitch on colored aida. She said, she doesn't have to count stitches, so she can do it early in the morning and/or late at night, without having to worry about counting. Thsi has eliminated alot of cussing and alot of ripping out. I consider this sanctifying. Buy this for the kingdom.

The finished product picture for "PATTERN 10", which looks more like punch needle work, made me question if this was really a stamped cross stitch kit. It just arrived today, so I haven't started it yet, but this is what I can share.- this is, in fact, a stamped cross stitch kit- the stitched portion of the canvas is 15 1/8" wide by 15 3/8" tall (or 38.5cm wide by 39.2cm tall)- the canvas is the typical stiff white Aida type canvas which is whip stitched around the edges to prevent fraying. It is 11 count fabric that is gridded out in 10 x 10 stitch squares, with a stitch count 168 by 168.- the color stamping on the canvas is cleanly done so that it's easy to tell where to place each stitch.- the canvas includes a legend on the right side but more importantly, there is a paper color chart that actually matches the canvas (some other brands include the chart that is designed to be used for blank fabric so symbols are usually different). While the paper chart is smaller than the canvas itself, it will be very useful. The legend is so much easier to read on the paper chart than the one on the canvas.- there are 28 colors of 6 stranded embroidery floss; use 3 strands when stitching. The floss itself is vibrant in color and very soft- 2 tapestry needles are included- a quick look over did not reveal any backstitching, however I may opt to use backstitching around the tip of the tail and for outlining the lower jaw, the mouth, and the whiskers of the foxThe one BIG surprise for me ... the entire background is stamped/charted to be stitched!! Didn't see that one coming. Other kits that I have with a "blank background" are left unstamped and unstitched. On the plus side, this gives 2 possible options. Assuming that the dye used for color stamping will wash out completely, you can opt to not stitch the background. On the other hand, the floss included for some of the light areas of the fox and the entire background is a beautiful shade of extremely pale lilac. The kit does include white floss (DMC 3756) that is used side by side with the pale lilac floss (DMC 3743) to give the "white" areas of the fox more dimension and texture, since this is fur. With everything I've seen in the kit, so far I'm very pleased and impressed. If I find any glaring issues once I start stitching, I'll revise this review. But for now ... 2 thumbs up. :-)
