Buyer beware, this item is unsafe. It is wired with 16 awg wire which is only capable of 5 amps. Which means your wires can start a fire because the safety/breaker is capable of more than the wire. Wires should be 10 awg for 20amp. Manufacturer needs to correct this issue and make this box 5 amp if they are going to use 16 awg. Would like the seller to reach out to me to fix this issue

Plan on using this on a future boat build and should be perfect. Battery switch is actually removable and could therefore work as a “key”. Gasket for cover is soft and supple, switches are standard issue of that type-not entirely sure one could take long periods of time at 20 amps but might. Hardware for mounting is stainless and glands for entry/exit of cables is provided and of good quality. The only question is, what to do about the grounds for the project……. I 5hink there is enough room in the box for a buss bar for the grounds. Overall, nice part for my project!

This box comes fully assembled, ready for you to attach your wires.You will need some spade crimp-ons, though, which are not included.The gasket is soft and supple, and makes this box water-tight. Great for the Pacific Northwest, a well house, boat house, or anywhere where there will be lots of water or moisture.All of the interior replaceable parts seem standard and easily replaced, as necessary.

I was surprised by the strength of this box! Todays products are so cheap, but not this one. Typical rocker switches found in most boards today. Locks tight. The on/off switch feels like modern cheapness which is why I gave 4 stars. No instructions came in mine either so Im unsure of the 3 settings, on/off/?. It stills serves my purpose and all I need is on/off and I will keep the ? in the back of my head with all the others lol Overall its a nice box, solid construction, many uses, and priced fair.

Firstly, I thought this unit came needing assembly, it comes fully assembled with you just needing.to complete the wiring. The box housing nis very solid and sealed up to be watertight around the gasket, you'll need to ensure to passthrough gasket are tight to get the rest watertight. The toggles and other plugs are very good quality, with fuses already installed for each toggle. I am very impressed with the quality and planning that went into this pre-assembled electrical box and the functionality it brings.

I have a solar power bank (ecoflow), that I power a backyard shed with. But I needed something that could take the 12V from the power bank and distribute to lights, USB chargers, etc. So this box, by "Joinfworld", has worked great. It has 5 independent switches, with fuses range from 10A to 20A. And a master on/off switch. The wiring looks like good quality, and everything is preassembled. However, a couple of things you'll need to complete this:1. You'll need those spade crimp ons to connect up to each switch. These are not included, unfortunately.2. You'll have up to 5 red/black wire pairs coming into the box. You'll need to wire nut them all together. I would recommend a screw down terminal block. Again, this is not included.But this box has worked out great, it looks clean and is very easy to install and connect up.

This is a DIY useful little box, I am going to use it for some machine controls. I don't know what the real intended purpose is - I guess for use on a boat but not sure where or why - but it's basically a NEMA enclosure with some switches and stuff pre-installed. Works well, seems decently made and its prewired which is nice.
