Fits good, not sure why John Deere won't deliver the mower with the cover installed. They just made another sale with this little gem.

I have absolutely no idea why J.D. doesn't include this lid from the factory. without it, the storage compartment is useless.This fits exactly, and doesn't cost that much.

This little door was a great addition to my lawn mower. This allows me to store items and not have to worry about them bouncing out or the container filling with grass clippings!

This thing is perfect. Fits well, and should have been there when I bought the mower. I, like others, can't understand why JD can't include an item that would probably cost them a dollar with a $4000 mower. smh
