Purchased not for a X100VI but for a Panasonic GX85. This looked like it was very similar to ones I'd seen for that camera, and it does in fact work very well in the Panasonic.

It did not list x100s - it fits like a glove. No shaking. I bought many of these and they have all been to short. This one extends to the end of the camera. This is huge because the short ones put your thumb in the middle of the back of the camera. This one gives it a natural resting position

I bought this thumb grip for my new Leica Q2 because the Leica thumb grip is not available at the moment.This grip looks nice enough, but the hot shoe mounting spot is not a very good fit laterally. When you put your thumb on the curved grip part, the part that connects to the hot shoe moves laterally, to the side, a bit. It's not a huge amount but it is worth mentioning. I put a single piece of paper under this area and it removed a bit of the play, but it is still there.If they widened the mounting spot a little bit this grip would be perfect.I will continue using this grip until the Leica thumb grip becomes available.April 6, 2023 update:The Leica thumb grip just arrived and as expected it's a perfect fit. It just feels solid, like it's part of the camera and belongs there. The JJC grip works but doesn't feel like that, it is thinner, doesn't have the crop button built in and the fit is not perfect like the Leica grip. If you can afford the Leica grip you should buy it, it feels much better and I know you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this thumb grip for my Q2. Initially I was sceptical about my purchase but as soon as I saw them and fit them to my camera, my god I was amazed by its fit and quality. A top notch thumb grip for less than half the price for what Leica sells. Anytime, any day I’ll recommend this without any second thought. I’m super happy with the purchase. I’m now interested in checking out their other accessories for the Leica. Great product 👍😃

Quality of material is good. However, the physical fit is loose and therefore will serve no use to me. I am sadly returning this product and will opt for a more expensive alternative.

Fits snug, doesn't come loose, just right, you don't need pliers to remove it like other makers on another camera I have. doesn't prevent use of dials or buttons at all. Others complaining about it being too thin don't understand it has to be thin to keep the dials/buttons still useful. Which leads me to believe the complainers are either competitors writing fake lower-star reviews, or user error.

Cut a thin strip of paper, fold and place on hot shoe before installing if you don’t want the tiny bit of play. Not a perfect fit but a paper spacer under the JJC helps. Feels rock solid now.
