I installed these on my TW 200 with 1 1/8" pro-taper bars. Price is right, looks good, easy install.

These seem pretty sturdy and like they’ll do the job. Install on a Honda CRF125 took about an hour. There were no instructions, but I watched a five minute YouTube video about generic handguard installation and was able to figure it out easily. As others said, install all the hardware semi loose before tightening anything so you can make adjustments. Even if they break in a fall, which I doubt, they’re cheaper than OEM Honda levers and brackets.

Great price for what you get. They seem to be of good quality and fit nicely. Would buy these again.

Evidence you get what you pay for. These are almost ok...Next time I'll spend more and hopefully get a better thought-out product. Most of my complaints are not because it's a 'universal' product - Fitment isn't the problem here, it's the hardware. I was going to return another product that didn't fit my bike, but I'm now going to keep it and use the expanding bolts from it to replace the ones I complain about below.1. No instructions and the interior mounts are not intuitive. Looking at reviews I see folks have installed them a couple of different ways.2. Arrived with mismatched hardware - nylock nuts that don't fit the bolts they're supposed to secure.3. Expanding bolts for the ends of the handlebars are far too short and very easily stripped.4. The connection secured by the nuts mentioned in #1 rattles even when tightened using matching fasteners.5. The handguards themselves seem nice and sturdy and are attractive.6. The design of the connection to the inner handlebar is interesting - seems well thought out, or it would be if I could tighten it properly.

I installed these on a 2001 DR650 last night on aftermarket bars. Installation was a touch fiddly, but if you go slow, it's fine. I like them. They are nice and stout and fit the contours of the bike nicely. I have yet to ride with them on, but I'm guessing they will do the job just fine. I'd suggest them.

Inexpensive and not durable enough to serve their intended purpose.

These are a direct fit on the Kawasaki KLR 650 08-18 model. You will need to purchase some extra hardware, and do a little persuasion on the aluminum guards to make them work. I did it by hand, I didn’t have to reshape them with a hammer. They will not line up perfectly even with the levers on both sides, because the cables on the left side interfere. But for $30, opposed to $130, they are a good value and worth the hassle of install. The plastic on one side came pre-scratched from the factory, so it already matches my bike. No drop test yet, but they feel sturdy.

I installed these hand guards/ bark busters on my sons apollo x18 RFZ. easy to install no instructions but fairly simple. I installed the wedge caps first then the inner bar clamps loosely next the adapter that attaches them together. then adjust and tighten everything. The kit comes with different size plastic shims to accommodate different handlebar configurations. Look great, sturdy. Good price point. Will protect my son's hands priceless!

These fit well on a KLR 650 (pictured) and clear around the brake master cylinder and throttle cables. They will protect your hands while riding and protect the levers and throttle when the bike falls over. They are not as good as the more expensive brands, but for the under $30 price range, they are a very good value. Two parts that could be improved: (1) the “universal” clamp to the inner handlebars is large enough to clamp around 1-1/8” bars, but for smaller diameter bars it uses plastic shims to take up the extra space. These do not clamp as securely as the all-metal clamps and will twist somewhat if the handlebars hit the ground. Then you have to straighten them out. Since 90%+ of handlebars are 7/8” diameter, they should provide a clamp for 7/8” bars, and a separate clamp for 1” or 1-1/8” bar.(2) the expanding nut that goes inside the bar end to hold the outer end of hand guard is a little too small for 7/8” steel bars. You have to tighten it a lot to take up the extra slack. A more precise fit here would help secure the guards better. But overall, they work adequately, and for less than $30, they are a very good value.

For my needs these guards hit all the right places, I don't ride single track at my age much so they are sturdy enough for most riding and look good. Fit on my 2022 KLX300 is bang on with my new bar set up. The product got 4 stars because there was a machine bolt missing and I had to drive to 2 different locations to find a proper match. I added a bearing from an old pair of roller hockey skates as a spacer eliminating the need to modify existing levers. Extending the inner bolt and sleeve would give more peace of mind when tightening up the grip end when a spacer is added.

Good product. Demands a bit a work to get it to fit your bike but they are all like that. That's being said I'm very pleased by the product!
