Buena calidad del producto, el único detalle es que pensé que sería un poco más grande, es muy pequeña.

I do not dislike anything about this bowl. It is a good solid bowl. I live alone. When I entertain, I do it for small groups. A small batch of sushi for 4-6 people will work fin in this bowl which is 3 x 10.Years ago, i was wathcing one of the Anthony Bourdain travel shows, I beleve it was No Resorvations. He was in Japan with a sushi master who's bowl was much larger and so were her paddles. I have no resorvations on the size of the bowl. I don't need a large bowl or paddles. I like that you recieve 3 bamboo matts which allows you to roll and let rest whie you work on another roll. The paddles are small, however for the size of the bowl and the small amounts of rice you can put in the bowl, they will work fine.If you are not aware, you will have to season it as you do many cooking pots or bowls. Fill it with cold water and 1/4 cup of rice vinegar. Let sit for 8 hours. Dry completely with a lent free cloth immediately after pouring the water out. Do not lea e any moisture in your bowl. Keep it away from heat and sunlight. The cleaning process should keep ruce from sticking. If it does not, get out all you can and soak until the ri e is lose. Never use soap or scouring pads. Wipe and dry as advised earlier. Take you time. Make and enjoy good sushi.

Good oke, but the paddle is ... tiny!! Don't miniaturize everything! Just because the oke is small that doesn't mean the paddle has to be made proportionally small! It's like, say, you use a small soup bowl and suddenly your spoon is only half t he size because your hands got smaller..It's really hard to hold the paddle because it is sooo small. I have to give it a 1-star deduction due to false logic in this regard (human hand size does not change regardless of the size of the bowl, oke, or plate he or she eats out of).I am picturing in my head eating a giant bowl of pho noodles and my spoon has to be as wide as my face and the spoon handle 2 feet long. Think, people, think!

I bought this set about 3 years ago. I use it about 4 or 5 times a year when making large batches of sushi rice. A little sushi rice goes a long way. If you’re going to make a few sushi rolls, this isn’t a necessary item. More for parties or if you’re a fan of rice balls and don’t mind freezing them for later use.Anyway, the hangiri is to cool the rice and also helps absorb any extra liquid from accidental overzealous use of rice vinegar mixture. The bamboo mat does what it should. No better or worse than any other out there. Surely most of us know to wrap it in plastic wrap to wrangle in the mess sticky sushi rice can sometimes cause. The paddles are good for mixing rice with the rice vinegar while it cools. They are smaller than expected because when mixing sushi rice more control is needed. While hot the rice is fragile and can be easily broken or smooshed/smashed which would not look good in a sushi roll or rice ball. They are also great when picking up rice and spreading it onto nori (seaweed sheets). When you first get the hangiri and rice paddles, give them a good once over with some warm water. Let them air dry and then give another round but with a little mild dish soap, dry again. One more round of just water and drying. I just noticed with a lot of wood products it’s best to do a water and drying round before using soap. The wood sometime wants to hold on to that nice soapy flavor we all enjoy… So take the time to do the initial water round. Do not fully submerge the hangiri in water or put in the dishwasher. After regular use, do a soap and water round. Once fully dried, you can store it away. Make sure it is fully dried or you’ll have moldy friends hanging out in your hangiri. And who needs friends like that? You really look like you know what you’re doing even if you don’t when you have guest around. It’s a nice novelty to have. We do taste a difference when using and not using the hangiri. I *ahem* paid a little more back then for this set. For the price it is at now, it’s so worth getting. I’d highly recommend you try it out.

Very nice sushi rice bowl for the price, some basic care instructions in English would have been nice, but I treated it with sesame oil as it was recommended online and it works great, the mat is good enough, typical bamboo sushi rolling mat.

Bowl is worth the price, but the paddles are like a baby's toy and the bamboo mat is not sturdy enough. As you roll the sushi the mat has gaping holes in between and doesn't give you a tight roll. I kept the bowl and ditched everything else.
