Cheap Taiwan junk. Say made in the USA. Maybe the box was. You can buy the same kit for under 30 bucks and get the same crap only from China

Unfortunately the float needle is leaking by less than 1hr of riding. But when it was working and not leaking out the overfill tube it ran like a charm. Going to disassemble and see if it’s not the product and just something else. I’ll change rating after I check it.96 Harley Dyna

Used to rebuild a stock CV40 on a '96 Buell Lightning. Of course there were some extra (unused) pieces but the ones I did use fit well and I am confident in their quality.

Used this kit on a 2002 Sportster Sport 1200S. I did some research on the cheaper kits and decided to go name brand for something that could potentially leak gas or leave me stranded. Kit had everything needed and was easy to install for someone that has rebuilt old 60's chevy single barrel carbs before. Bike runs like new again.

It’s all there. Good James stuff. Float needle rotted and so it was time to rebuild. Found more gummy seals in the process. Works perfectly again. Gotta love a CV

After rebuilding my carburetor my motorcycle ran terribly rich and will not idle. After tearing it down again and checking the needle seat with water I found that the needle does not seal and just keeps taking water. Upon reinstalling old needle valve and checking with water it does seal and the carburetor stop taking water when the needle valve seals. I spent the extra money for a premium gasket kit and I'm very disappointed with faulty parts. I have been a Auto Tech for over 20 years so I know what I'm doing.

This is the best kit. Quality gaskets, easy to use. This was the first time I ever did a job like this, but it worked out well. The problem with my carb was with the accelerator pump diaphragm was cracked. The one supplied with the kit seemed better quality than the original. I did a little research before buying this and the James kit has a reputation as the best.
