The power supply to our vintage iPod JBL onstage speaker frayed near the plug. This power supply seemed perfect - it’s a transformer rather than a switching supply. However - the connector is a smidge too large - that was remedied by soldering on the original- and the speaker works perfectly! It could be this manufacturer sells the correct power supply- but this worked fine - we tested it with clip leads first and we’re happy to have our iPod speaker back in action!

I got this for a objective 2 amp because the 250ma 12v adapter wasnt enough for my beyerdynamics dt880 600 omh. I have to drive the headset really high because of my inherited hearing loss and it wouldnt produce bass and low mids with that lower adapter. With this I still have to pump the amp basically to 95-99% however the bass and mids are suddenly there and easy to hear with the hiss with the higher notes mostly gone from the 250ma adapter. They are kinda there still only because of the audio quality of the stuff im listening too. Also the thing is nice and solid feeling with no cheap feeling plastic as well as being pretty big and heavy. The shipping was way quicker than I thought it was going to be however im in AZ so im close to shipping.
